Based on the novel by Mark Jude Poirier and from first-time director Christopher Neil, GOATS centres around the story of fourteen year old Ellis (Graham Phillips), who is getting ready to leave his luxurious home in the foothills of Tucson for his freshman year at Gates Academy, an East Coast prep school. This means leaving behind Wendy (Vera Farmiga – Up in the Air, The Conjuring), his flaky, new age mother and the only real father he has ever known, Goat Man (David Duchovny – The X Files, Californication).

Epic Pictures Group will be introducing Louder Than Words next month at EFM. The drama from director Anthony Fabian (Skin) is exec produced by Rod Lurie (Straw Dogs) and stars Golden Globe winner David Duchovny and Golden Globe nominee Hope Davis in the true story of John and Brenda Fareri, who lose their youngest daughter to tragedy and go on to build a state-of-the-art children’s hospital in her honor with the help of an advisor (Oscar winner Timothy Hutton). Identity Films’ Anthony Mastromauro produced the pic which was scripted by Benjamin Chapin. Preferred Content is repping domestic rights while Epic handles international.

Beginning Sunday, April 13, the sweeping docu-series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY makes its debut in time for Earth Day at 10 p.m., immediately following the season six premiere of Nurse Jackie, starring Edie Falco, at 9 p.m. and the seventh and final season of Californication, starring David Duchovny, at 9:30 p.m. SHOWTIME's new series PENNY DREADFUL, the psychological thriller starring Eva Green and Josh Hartnett, premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m.
