David Duchovny: I wake up the beginning of this season but…They decide [pointing to Natasha] Karen and my friends decide that I have to go to rehab. So that’s the beginning of the year me getting shipped off to rehab.
Natasha McElhone: Intervention
David Duchovny: Yeah

David Duchovny: One of the things I find is it like everybody else’s gotten crazier. Where’s we remain kind of the same character but Charlie and Marcy
Natasha McElhone: Yeah, crazy.
David Duchovny: And the guest stars they are out hanking Hank.

David Duchovny: We don’t really know what the season is gonna be before we start getting the first script which is usually a couple of days before we start shooting it. So we don’t really know about casting staff. I’m sure we have people that we like, you know, that we like to work with. It’s so character specific
Natasha McElhone: He doesn’t get anyone from. He just gets his mates in.
David Duchovny: You need to get your mates in there. Let’s get a mate of yours in this year.
Natasha McElhone: Ok, then. That makes us more even.
David Duchovny: Yeah. Give me a list of your mates, so we can fit..
Natasha McElhone: Ok
David Duchovny:… that act. It’s true I work with my mates. We got a great set that’s the thing. I enjoy going to work every day.
Natasha McElhone: It’s like going for play date.
David Duchovny: Yeah. Really?
Natasha McElhone: Yeah kind of.
David Duchovny: Play date.
