Newsday Live presents David Duchovny. The award-winning actor (“The X-Files,” ”Californication”) and best-selling author talks with us about his latest novel, “The Reservoir.”
About the writing process
Duchovny: I'm not a perfectionist in that way. I don't think. In my approach to writing when I'm doing it. It is very soldiery, I guess. It's up really early, and it's working every day. Because I feel like my inspiration, it's not with me all the time. I don't need to write every day. But when I'm writing I do. So I think I wanna ride that inspiration because it's really energy. It's really enlightening. I feel great. Watch video here.
